INDIGO is a Tokyo-based product and furniture design studio. We explore the relationship between form and the invisible forces that shape perception — gravity, balance, continuity. Through this inquiry, we translate what cannot be seen into what can be held.

INDIGO integrates technologies such as VR into its creative process, using them not as visual effects, but as tools to expand perception, space, and experience beyond the limits of physical prototypes.

Satoshi Kan, founder of the design studio INDIGO,
explores the relationship between form and perception.
His focus is not on the object itself, but on how it is perceived—how it emerges within consciousness.
Rooted in aesthetics, elegance, and intrinsic value, he has deepened this exploration through collaborations with brands.
Today, with product design at its core, he develops a design language that transcends style and trends— one that engages directly with perception.
His work connects sculptural clarity with brand experience, creating forms that carry both function and emotional presence.
デザインスタジオINDIGOの創設者でありデザイナーである菅 悟史は、形と知覚の関係を探求しています。
彼の関心は、物そのものではなく、それがどのように知覚され、どのように意識の中に立ち上がるかにあります。美学やエレガンス、そして本質的な価値に根ざしながら、ブランドとの協働を通して、その探求を深化させてきました。
